Every August for nearly two decades, the scenic Ivanova Korita in Montenegro transforms into a vibrant hub of science, curiosity, and youthful energy. From August 10–15, the 18th Summer School of Science will once again bring together some of the most talented primary and high school students from across Montenegro—and beyond.
The Summer School offers a unique blend of experimental, theoretical, and independent learning, giving young science enthusiasts the chance to engage directly with real-world scientific challenges. From hands-on chemistry labs and biology dissections to night-sky observations in astronomy and practical electronics projects, participants explore a wide range of disciplines including physics, medicine, mathematics, and more.

What truly sets this school apart is its exceptional lineup of lecturers. Over the years, students have had the rare opportunity to learn from leading scientists and professors from prestigious institutions such as Cambridge, Oxford, Harvard, the Russian Academy of Sciences, and Lomonosov University. This blend of local and international expertise creates a collaborative, high-quality educational environment that inspires critical thinking and innovation.
Whether you're a student passionate about natural sciences or an educator looking to inspire the next generation of scientists, the Summer School of Science is a brilliant example of how informal learning environments can fuel lifelong scientific curiosity.
At BONA, we believe that science should be accessible, exciting, and deeply engaging—and initiatives like this summer school are perfect proof of that.
